Thank you to everyone who applied.

Only the transverse flute can compete with Japanese drums!
Many Shinobue enthusiasts should love taiko, and speaking of a powerful, loud Japanese taiko instrument that can be played with a taiko drum ...
Yes, the whistle! There is only.

The timbre of the distant sound even in the clear outdoors of Shinobue.
I want you to concentrate on training while actually feeling the sound pressure with your body!
With that in mind, this training camp was planned.

What kind of training is it?

I don't know how to train.
I often hear these voices.
The road is far, steep, and there is no time to become an expert. Before that, I don't know how to practice. This is a tragedy when you want to use your short practice time effectively. As it is known, wrong practice is harmful. We know that by making mistakes over and over again, we learn the mistakes themselves.

Having said that, it can be a daunting task to master all the techniques. What's more, the problem that sometimes arises when learning from a professional is that someone who devotes his life to music and becomes an expert demands the same thing. This is frustrating.
It is a lie if the know-how that can be easily acquired in a few days lies in learning an instrument.
However, if you hold down a few points, you can make a mistake.
The point is how you want to play. Do you want to be a professional ...?

I think many people are different.
Many people
・ I want to be a little better ・ I want to be a little more enjoyable ・ I want you to tell me what kind of practice you should do ・ I want you to tell me the points that amateurs do not understand Isn't it such a feeling?

To be honest.
If you don't practice, you won't improve. Knowledge alone is enough to get you into your head, but you can't get it. But without knowledge, nothing can be attached to anything.
Gaining knowledge is very important for adults. Clarify the purpose of the practice and get closer to the goal in a short period of time and in a short distance.
We hope that this strategic approach will make your music life even more fulfilling and enjoyable. (Tatara Toki)

Original music training and sales

Both are songs that professionals put into their concert programs.

The approach to these songs, and the points to be aware of when ensemble Japanese drums and flutes,

Only here should be held down! point.

Please withdraw from each instructor.

Now, sheet music is indispensable for an intensive program in a short period of time.

For this training camp, we have prepared the original scores for these two songs.

Kagari Dengaku has already been released by ATN Publishing (Wadaiko & Transverse Flute Ensemble Song Collection), but Mr. Koizumi wrote the original part of Wadaiko.

Under the supervision of Mr. Koizumi, NEBUTA has finished the score of the flute to a specification that makes it easy for Mr. Toki to play the flute.

If you belong to the Wadaiko team, why not add the songs you learned to the repertoire as a team?

(* Please contact the secretariat for the handling of sheet music.)

Course song

The songs of this training camp are greedy and two songs!

"Kagari Dengaku" & "NEBUTA"

First, the instructor Tatara Toki's original song "Kagari Dengaku", and the other song is Kenichi Koizumi's original song "NEBUTA".

"Kagari Dengaku" is loved by many Japanese drum groups overseas. Many videos are actually posted on the net. As those who belong to the Wadaiko team are familiar with, the playing style of Wadaiko is still young, so there are not many songs. Many make copies of the originals of professional groups or compose originals by their respective teams. It's great, and I feel the energy of witnessing the natural sources of music. Among such energetic Japanese drum songs, Kagari Dengaku is an original song by a flute player, and it is loved that the flute has a presence that plays a leading role, while the songs that can taste the real thrill of the flute are a little scarce. Isn't it one of the reasons?

However, for that reason, there are plenty of difficult parts. For those who have doubts that just copying the sound with their ears doesn't look good, this training camp provides an effective approach to difficult areas, practice methods, and interpretation and expression of songs. This is a great opportunity to learn from the composer himself.

And another song.

Kenichi Koizumi's original song "NEBUTA" is also included in the curriculum. "NEBUTA" is based on the motif of Nebuta, a traditional performing art of Aomori prefecture that is famous all over the country. If you listen to the fascinating melody of the flute, oh! Many people will hit their knees. Nebuta Hayashi uses a uniquely tuned flute, but NEBUTA uses a singing tone, so the tone you normally use is OK.

* Both Kagari Dengaku and NEBUTA use 6-tone songs.
