Born in Kyoto. Graduated from Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Music High School, Department of Flute.

Graduated from Doshisha University Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy and Ethics. Iaido 2nd dan.

The theme is how to resonate with the hearts of modern people by investigating bamboo flutes that are nostalgic and approach the Japanese soul. Performs composition and performance activities in order to pursue the possibility of Shinobue, which does not have solo songs in classical music. He has a combination of traditional Japanese classical playing techniques and techniques cultivated through learning Western music, and his playing style that makes full use of advanced techniques has been highly evaluated in various fields.
"Tatara", which bears the stage name, was named after the impression of the medieval iron-making technique Tatara. I got a glimpse of the power of the ancestors to create things in Okuizumo's "Nichitobo Tara". Then, looking at his own state, he entrusts the whistle with the invisible but certain things that have been connected to us from our predecessors to the present day, and uses them as the source of creativity.
